The Editorial ratings weigh double, whilst the other categories weigh equally in the score. This is because ratings on Trustpilot, the App Store and Google Pay can often be misleading, heavily influenced by unfair or otherwise non-genuine reviews (including both overly positive and unfairly negative ones).
For example, if an online casino has ratings from the Editorial team, users, and Trustpilot, each category contributes 50%, 25%, and 25%, respectively. If another casino has ratings from 4 datasets, the proportions become 40% for the Editorial score and 20% for each of the others.
