| Overall | 3.29 |

We have conducted our Gala Spins review and our ratings score it at 3.29 out of 5.00.
That is a very middle of the road score. Our scoring system ranks various different aspects of a casino operation though so whilst the weighted position comes in at 3.29, there are aspects that over and underperform against that.
Understanding those areas of strength and weakness are important because they matter more to different people.
At Gala Spins, the standout negative is the customer support available. Although, to be more accurate, the lack of it. On the positive side, the game library and deposit options available both come in stronger than expected. Also, the Gala Spins withdrawal time test gave us instant results, which is a good sign as well.
Gala Spins, which is perhaps best known for its bingo offering, is a striking platform. Royal blue and yellow contrast strongly on your screen, with a white base providing a nice element of "break up" from the aforementioned bold colours. The initial signs are good.
We have a couple of gripes here but let's tick off the positives first.
Most importantly, the sheer number of games on offer at Gala Spins is good. There are around 4,933 games on offer, with close to 100 of them coming out of the live casino. Both of these numbers are strong.
There is also a good mix of games too, with exclusive titles and well-known titles like Fishin' Frenzy and Starburst just a couple of examples.
For being a part of the Entain Group, Gala Spins seems to afford to maintain a decent level of RTP settings. With Gates of Olympus at 96.50%, Tome of Madness at 94.52%, and 777 Super Strike at 92.08%, their average RTP comes at 94.37%, which is within the current market average.
You've got a text search bar at the very top of the page, which includes a couple of very basic filtering options. It looks neat and is responsive. The only downside is the filtering not being great; getting game volatility or pay reels in here would be a big step on.
That bar is then followed by a range of well-presented text and icon combo buttons that sit in a horizontal scroll bar, serving as casino category navigation options. Menu tiles are large, easy to read and simple to interact with.
Now, we turn to our point of annoyance. No matter what area of the casino you are in, the game tiles used are large enough in size that you have no problem at all interacting with them but, and this is the issue, there is no consistency.
Under "New" games the tiles are twice as long in height as they are wide in width. In the "Exclusives" section the game tiles are more square in shape, running three-wide on a page with no horizontal scroll option. Then, under "Slots" you get larger square tiles that are two-and-a-half tiles wide on a page, with the ability to scroll horizontally. Pick a style!!
The brand "Gala" is, first and foremost, known as a bingo brand. With a solid casino offering also in place, it needs to find a way of attracting the right customers. A solid sign up bonus is not a bad place to start, and it does that pretty well..

New gambling legislation has limited wagering requirements to 10x. At Gala Spins, you don't even have to concern yourself with that.
The Gala Spins sign up bonus, which awards 100 free spins when the qualifying criteria is met, are wagering free. It means any winnings from your free spins is immediately credited to your account balance, whether that be for re-wagering or withdrawal.
Gala Spins offers customers a range of free-to-play daily games.
The headline is the daily prize wheel. Once registered, you can spin the wheel once each day with prizes ranging from Gala Points, Free Spins up to £50 worth of cash.
Alongside this, there are options for free bingo and slots tournaments. These two both award Gala Points.
Loyal customers to Gala Spins are rewarded through Gala Points. Gala Points can be collected through a range of different avenues, including the daily free-to-play game options.
Gala Points can be redeemed in the Gala Rewards Club for various types of casino bonuses such as:
There is no cap to how many Gala Points you can earn but they have to be "cashed in" on the 7th of the month after you earn them. If you save your points up all month, you effectively have a week to use them.
There are a host of banking options available to customers at Gala Spins, blending together traditional methods and more modern options. It means that it is a platform available to a wide range of different customers.
The point of being available to a lot of different people is reinforced by the minimum deposit amounts. Debit cards - Visa and Mastercard - Skrill, Neteller, ApplePay and bank transfer all have minimum deposits of just £5, making them widely accessible.
You then have the Paysafecard and PayPal that have a higher deposit minimum. Even that's only £10.

Gala Spins comes as a casino focussed app, which is available to both iOS and Android users. It is well thought of too. The Apple App store has 49k against the Gala Spins: Online Casino app, with those reviews pegging it at 4.7 out of 5. That's a pretty glowing score.
Our testing of the app was smooth. By and large, it was very similar to the browser version of Gala Spins, albeit with the ability to enable push notifications.

The Gala Spins customer support function is accessible through the main menu, signposted by the burger menu in the top left corner of the site. There you will find a "Contact Us" option.
The quality of the customer support, however, is really poor. The "Contact Us" page takes you through to a FAQ page. That's pretty decent, to be fair, but going deeper than a FAQ is hard work.
We were unable to easily identify any route of human contact on the site directly. To reach out to them, you need to click on "Yes" in FAQs' Do you need any more help? and pick one of the channels available.
They claim to have private message support via Facebook, X, and Instagram but having to leave the platform to just to contact their support is not user friendly.
Despite a lacklustre customer service page, the Responsible Gaming section at Gala Spins provides a lot to like.
From a "Safer Gambling" page perspective, the page layout is up there with the best we've seen. The layout is really clean, easy to follow and holds your focus.
Then, it is about the detail and tools available. At Gala Spins, you have the following tools:
With those tools accompanied by "activity tracking" focussed on net deposits and profit and loss reporting, together with plenty of external links on the page, the only thing we'd criticise is a struggle to contact someone at Gala.
There are no user reviews for Gala Spins yet. Happy or frustrated? We want to know! We welcome all feedback, but please keep it civil. Reviews containing profanity or abuse will be removed.
