Unibet is a well-known brand in the UK market, formerly owned by Kindred Group and now by FDJ United. However, it is probably fair to say it's not a name that immediately springs to mind when you're on the lookout for a new casino. Our Unibet review would suggest that maybe it should.
You have a vast array of game titles, coming from well-recognised software providers, as well as boasting exclusive titles too. Alongside this, you've got good filter options, strong navigation steps and a solid RTP across its games as well.
The positives keep coming with the payment methods. We've seen more extensive options with some brands, but there is plenty of choice for how you want to fund your Unibet account.
The area that lets Unibet down a bit is the customer service. You only have a live chat function to utilise and, whilst it is available 24/7, response times during our testing were not great.

The range of payment options available at Unibet is solid.
Not only do you have the ability to deposit by various common methods, such as card, instant bank transfer and Apple Pay, but you can also get started from just £5. That's not the lowest deposit amount you'll find in the casino market, but it's a very acceptable minimum.
Unibet previously supported Skrill and Neteller, but these e-wallets have since been removed from the available payment methods. However, the recent addition of Revolut Pay is worth noting.

Unibet Mobile App
There is not a great deal of difference between the Unibet mobile app and the mobile-friendly website it offers. The biggest benefit of the app is being to enable push notifications, while there are some minor usability benefits to the app too. Most notable in that space is the ability to toggle to different game views, one of which gives a quick reference of game volatility.

If we were being critical, the Unibet customer support is probably the worst part of its offering.
For one thing, gaining access to the Customer Support section is far from intuitive, owing to the fact it doesn't live prominently in the main menu options. Once you do find the "Help" link - either in the site footer or as a smaller text link in the menu - you will see a 24/7 live chat function. You do have to deal with an AI Bot in the first instance but it is easy to navigate past to connect with a human.
It all sounds okay up to this point, doesn't it? Well, it's downhill from here. The live chat function is your only route of contact, which is limiting for users, and the response times we found during our testing were hardly rapid either, with Unibet taking over three hours to reply.
Unibet Responsible Gaming
Looking through a critical lens, we'd again suggest Unibet could make their Responsible Gaming section more prominent on the site. It is hard to complain about what you get to commit to responsible gaming when you do find it, though.
There is an easy to read, yet comprehensive, overview of what "Safer Gambling" means, a host of links to external support and plenty of in-house tools to support you, including a nine-question assessment that can help you to identify whether you may be at risk.
